Hot New Miami Drink – Yellow Tomato Martini
I can see it now – my thinner, sexier, dangerous dame self – on a terra cotta patio overlooking a giant inground pool. I’m tanned and dewy, wearing a white slinky dress with my long, dark hair cascading over my shoulders. In my hand? The hottest new drink in Miami – The Yellow Tomato Martini. What’s better than a sexy martini when you’re schmoozing at an outdoor after-dinner party, in the middle of summer, listening to your favorite crooners melt your heart? (Okay, so this drink would be just as sexy in jeans and a cami with my hair up in a bun, but damn – aren’t fantasies great?)
Anywho – it reminds me a little bit of a funked up, spicy Bloody Mary, but different.
Yellow Tomato Martini Recipe
1 1⁄2 oz Ketel One vodka
2oz Fresh juiced (or blended and strained) yellow tomato
1/3 of a bar spoon of alaea sea salt
7 drops of Green Tabasco,
Juice of 1⁄2 a lime
7 drops Worcester
In an ice-filled shaker, combine the tomato juice, sea salt, Tabasco, lime juice, and Worchester. Add the vodka, shake, strain into a martini glass, and serve with a skewer of three baby yellow tomatoes.

This would be great but I can’t fathom a tomato drink. I like it fresh, chopped, but never as a drink or soup
Hi! You are so right. It is like a funked up bloody mary! Love how you packaged it for perfect sizzling party-night perfection. Thanks for giving out cocktails and blog a shout-out!
