Frank Sinatra- The House I Live In – video short (1945)
Okay, please don’t take this as any fodder for a political debate on today’s situation, but I had to post this. Not just because it’s Frank Sinatra, or because it’s got him singing in it, or that he’s talking about his views on America and war. It’s amazing how this could be used by either “party” today though. He talks about American pride, dabbles on the 1940’s “melting pot”, and uses some analogies that have been used for decades since about blood and war.

Personally, I’m just dazzled by his voice and how hot he was… haha I kid, I kid! I think it’s pretty amazing that this was given honorary awards in a time when religious prejudice was such a “norm”. They don’t outwardly say that the kid being bullied is Jewish, but it’s likely that he is. And yes, I know all about how “Hollywood is run by Jews” chatter. I just think this video is pretty cool for a time like that.
