This is why I’m NOT a U2 fan.

I’m sorry folks. I’m apologizing for posting this video of Frank Sinatra and Bono singing “Under My Skin”, and if your ears bleed, please not that neither myself nor b5media are going to pay your medical bills. But this is why I hate U2 and Bono. Okay, it’s not ONLY why, but it’s one of the main reasons. I can’t believe this butchering… and wtf is up with Bono getting all soprano with his voice in this? Ew. Just flat out… Ew.

And before you ask – No. I couldn’t listen/watch the whole thing either.

Wow, you hardly ever hear someone admit that they hate U2. I actually love them; well, like them a lot — not a mass collector but have a ton of their stuff and they don’t kill every cover. Helter Skelter was very cool. But we all like different stuff and I agree this is not very cool; course I’m not a huge fan of the original version either. Yikes!

Ha – yeah, there’s some sort of fear I think behind people refusing to admit they hate U2… ;) It’s kind of funny to me, but I really do enjoy most music. At least I can find something to appreciate most of the time, even if it’s just a good bass line in heavy metal. LOL

Very few I have no tolerance for – Bono/U2, James Taylor, and almost all Bob Dylan. *runs and hides*

I’m also not much of an R.E.M. fan either – though I can see why people liked them at one point. Just wasn’t for me…

And I do love the original “Under My Skin” – especially when they use it in movies. like “What Women Want” with Mel Gibson and Helen Hunt… oh it was soooo good! ;)
