Who is your favorite crooner?
I’ve been blogging here at Crooner Culture for almost a year now, and I’ve written about dozens of crooners. I’d like to pose the question to readers (and possibly pull a few lurkers out of the shadows) and ask you all to respond to one very simple question:
Who is your favorite crooner?
More specifically, if you have a favorite album by a favorite crooner, I’d love to hear about that too.
Right now, I’m still pretty high on my Michael Buble kick, and I have to say that my favorite album right now of his is the Call Me Irresponsible
So I’m going to keep pointing to this post for a while, because I really want to collect a good list of favorites for a project I want to do here. Best answer now, because you’re gonna get harassed about it by me for a while!

Frank Sinatra is my favorite and my favorite album of the moment, because it changes so often, is “Nice N Easy” because of the great arrangements and the 44 years of wisdom Sinatra now had to sing about love, loss and knowing how much your teeth hurt when love is unrequited. His best song ever…in my view and it holds for only tonight, is “Lonesome Town”. Man that guy was pure lonesome on that track.

up until very recently i would have had to say sinatra. right now, i think it might be dean martin. since i’ve only recently come to this conclusion, i don’t have a favorite album (unless a best of counts) but some of the songs i do have (notably sway, you belong to me, and innamorata) are so positively swoon-worthy i can forgive some of those…other songs.
