I’m absolutely in awe – Alicia Keys looks simply more glamorous and gorgeous than I think I’ve ever seen her, and the addition of Ol’ Blue Eyes just made me melt all over this video. I’ve already watched it half a dozen times, and I can’t get over it.

I know, it appears that I’m on an Alicia Keys kick here lately – maybe I am.
I also know that she’s considered R&B and not a “crooner” type, according to official genre types, but I can’t help it – She’s a crooner to me. Maybe it’s the piano, her voice, I don’t know… whatever it is, I’m kinda into it.

Alicia Keys apparently has always been more of a private person, in public and in her personal relationships. She said that she even hides her true self when she’s in a relationship until that person shows her his true self. She claims to have become a master at “putting up walls” and burying her feelings, including depression.

ALICIA KEYS TO PLAY LENA HORNE. PageSix.com is reporting that Alicia Keys will play Lena Horne in a movie about the music legend. Janet Jackson was previously rumored to take the part. According to the site, Oprah Winfrey, who has taken over the project, wanted Keys in the lead role. The talk show host said, “We are going to start filming next year. And we have got Alicia.” Horne, 90, has been deeply involved in the casting process and had asked Jackson to remove herself from the project after the Super Bowl controversy.
