Okay, I discovered Julia Nunes over the weekend, cause someone told me to look her up in YouTube and I’m just seriously having a major girl crush on this chick! LOL
Seriously, I know, she’s a ukulele player and you might think that’s kinda strange, but OH MY GOD she’s really good at it, her voice is great, and she’s just adorable. Besides, ukuleles are Hawaiian instruments, and back in the 40’s and 50’s, people loved Hawaii. So there.

Nat “King” Cole was born in Montgomery, Alabama as Nathaniel Adams Coles (March 17, 1919 – February 15, 1965).
His father was a preacher in the Baptist church. His family moved to Chicago, Illinois while he was still a child. There, his father became a minister; Nat’s mother Perlina, was the church organist.
His first performance, at age four, was of “Yes, We Have No Bananas”.
